The Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) is managed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) as part of their promise to raise the standard. Those enrolled in the scheme have to follow specific guidelines and ensure their employees are vetted to the SIA’s high standards. The SIA also carry out annual inspections to ensure their rules and guidelines are being upheld by those carrying the Approved SIA Contactor status.
